Online-Tagung “Sharing beyond borders”
ILEU e.V. as the office of the informal educational network Danube-Networkers is organizing the online conference and the partner meeting “Sharing beyond borders – New ways of care, communication and cooperation of older people along the Danube and in Europe in times of COVID-19″ in cooperation with the association DANET e.V. and other European partners.
Every two years, representatives and multipliers of the institutions of the network “Danube-Networkers” meet within the framework of the Danube Festival Ulm/Neu-Ulm, in order to exchange information and ideas in a conference, international workshops and other events. Due to the Coronavirus crisis these events were cancelled in 2020, but we would still like to make the international exchange happen because physical distancing shouldn’t mean social distancing!
Intention and Topics
The aim of the event is to exchange and develop ideas for future cooperation along the Danube and in Europe in times of Corona and afterwards on the basis of impulse lectures and discussions in working groups on topics such as digitalisation, new ways of learning in later life, age-friendly living and inclusive cities, intergenerational dialogue, discrimination in the old age in times of COVID-19 and many more.
